Job summary

UW Medical Center-Northwest in Seattle is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse for the Operating Room to circulate and scrub across a variety of surgical cases. This role partners with surgeons and the health care team to deliver exceptional perioperative care in a collaborative culture.

The RN will provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative care, maintain sterile technique, advocate for patients, and support recovery.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted WA license or valid Multistate license.
• One year of Operating Room nursing experience.
• Scrub and/or Circulate experience.
• Minimum 2 years of general OR nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative care for surgical patients.
• Assist surgeons during operations by providing instruments and managing patient needs.
• Monitor patient recovery and maintain a sterile environment.
• Act as patient advocate and coordinate with the healthcare team.
• Provide patient education for recovery.
