Job summary

Honolulu Surgery Center, L.P. is seeking an Operating Room Nurse/Registered Nurse to provide professional perioperative care under the direction of the Nursing Quality Manager.

The role includes assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of patient care; acts as associate to charge nurse and may assume charge nurse responsibilities. The ideal candidate holds Hawaii RN licensure, current BLS/ACLS/PALS, and has strong patient advocacy, teamwork, and crisis response skills;

Qualifications

• Must meet Hawaii state licensing education requirements.
• Current Hawaii RN license.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room as part of the perioperative team.
• Assist physicians and surgical team during procedures.
• Administer medications according to scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Ensure patient safety and privacy in perioperative settings.
• Respond to codes and collaborate with the charge nurse.
