Job summary

Prisma Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night shift in the Short Stay Surgical Unit at Greenville Memorial Hospital. You will provide direct patient care in an acute inpatient setting, following the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.

Qualifications

• Education - Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to assigned patients consistent with the established nursing plan.
• Performs nursing tasks within RN scope of practice per policies and procedures.
• Delegates nursing tasks to team members and ensures completion of assigned tasks.
• Monitors quality of care and ensures surveillance of patients.
• Assesses patient status, plans and coordinates care with healthcare team.
• Supports discharge planning for continuity of care.
