Job summary

South Denver Surgery Center is seeking a motivated OR Registered Nurse to join our team. The OR RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for all age patients in the operating room, following nursing standards and Center policies.

The role may include committee work and quality improvement projects as designated by leadership. We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, PTO, 401(k), holidays, and health savings

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
Currently licensed in the state, or possess a compact license.
Compact licenses must obtain state license within 90 days of hire.
CPR required; ACLS within six months of hire.
One year experience in intra-operative setting.
Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.

Responsibilities

OR RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for all age patients in operating room.
Provides care within nursing standards and Center policies.
Communicates information to physicians, patients, family, and other departments and team members.
May have duties designated by Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing, including committees and quality improvement projects.
