Job summary

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is seeking an Experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room (OR). The OR RN will provide skilled nursing care, collaborate with the surgical team, and ensure patient safety throughout perioperative care.

The role offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates, full-time with rotating shifts and on-call requirements, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• ADN is required; BSN or higher preferred.
• Virginia or compact multistate RN license in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital OR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process and standards.
• Collaborate with the care team and educate patients and families.
• Maintain safety, quality and documentation as part of care coordination.
