Job summary

MaineHealth's Maine Medical Center in Biddeford is seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse (RN II) to join our team. The role requires a minimum of 1 year operating room experience and the ability to scrub; CNOR/ACLS desirable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN license required; BLS cert required or obtain within 30 days.
• One year of recent RN experience required.
• CNOR and/or ACLS desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, position, and assist patient during procedures.
• Communicate with the surgical team to provide safe, reliable care.
• Oversee Surgical Technologist and other OR staff; use current OR technology and equipment.
