Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room on the Night shift. This full-time role offers a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and a competitive hourly pay range.

You will deliver perioperative care, coordinate with surgeons and anesthesiologists, and support OR staff while maintaining standards. The position includes benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS (AHA) certificate on hire and maintain.
• ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain.
• PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain.
• Minimum of one year previous Perioperative experience or on the job training
• CNOR Certification (AORN) preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting.
• Coordinate care with the surgeon and anesthesiologist.
• Direct and guide the OR Technician and other personnel while maintaining standards.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities, unit meetings and in-services.
