The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma, certification as a Surgical Technologist, and at least one year of relevant experience. Flexibility for on-call shifts, including weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma/GED.
• Requires certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist obtained from the NBSTSA.
• Requires Basic Life Support Certification.
• Requires a minimum of 1 year experience in the Skilled Technologist role or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and support before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Ensure proper arrangement of surgical equipment in the operating room.
• Assist in the turnover of the operating room after procedures.

Skills

Knowledge of surgical equipment and instrumentation

Basic Life Support Certification

Ability to assist in operating room

Education

High School Diploma/GED

Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist

17 continuing education units annually
