Job summary

Premier Health seeks a Patient Care Tech in the Miami Valley Hospital OR to support nurses and doctors in patient care, including monitoring vitals and assisting with mobility and daily activities.

No prior experience is required; a high school diploma or GED is needed and BLS CPR training is provided during orientation. This is a full-time, in-unit role with a one-week orientation period.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• BLS CPR certificate required or provided at orientation.
• No prior experience required, but healthcare background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with patient care in the OR environment.
• Monitor patient vitals, comfort, and safety during shifts.
• Help patients with mobility, dressing, and meals; collect basic samples.
• Report changes in patient condition to the nurse promptly.
