Job summary

Premier Health’s Miami Valley North facility is seeking a Patient Care Technician/Unit Clerk to support the nursing team in providing high-quality patient care. You will help monitor vitals, assist with daily activities, and collect samples as needed.

No prior healthcare experience is required; completion of STNA/CNA or nursing student clinicals is a plus. Orientation includes CPR training and hands-on practice in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• BLS CPR certification required or training provided during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Check patient temperature, heartbeat, and breathing.
• Assist patients with movement, dressing, and eating.
• Collect samples such as urine as needed.
• Report changes in a patient’s condition to a nurse.
• Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and weighing; monitor vitals.
