Job summary

Premier Health Partners is seeking a Patient Care Tech to support the Patient Care Unit 2 in Dayton. This full-time role runs 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, 36 hours per week, at Miami Valley North, assisting nurses and doctors in daily patient care tasks.

You will check vitals, help patients with movement and meals, collect samples, and promptly report changes to the supervising nurse. Training and schooling options are outlined below.

Qualifications

• No prior job experience required, but preferred pathways include STNA, CNA, or PCT training.
• Recently nursing students with one clinical rotation are considered.
• High school diploma or GED is required, plus BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Check temperature, heartbeat, and breathing.
• Help patients move, get dressed, and eat.
• Collect samples like urine and report changes to a nurse.
• Assist with patient walks, hygiene, and monitoring vitals.
