Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an OR Travel Nurse in Chardon, Ohio for a 13-week assignment. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience as circulating or scrub RN, and may involve RN first assistant tasks.

Work is 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, days. As an OR travel nurse, you will support physicians, provide pre- and post-surgery care, and manage instrument handling, patient education, and safety throughout the perioperative period.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of acute care experience as circulating or scrub RN.
• BLS certification required, additional certifications may be required.
• Travel RN position based in Chardon, OH with 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative patient care before, during and after surgery.
• Assist in anesthesia and instrument preparation as circulating/scrub RN.
• Educate patients and families on home care and meds.
• Maintain sterile fields and instrument counts.
• Monitor patient safety and respond to complications.
