Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience as circulating nurse, scrub nurse or RN first assistant.
• BLS certification required.
• Travel RN assignment in OR with 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications.
• Serve as liaison between patients' families and operating team.
• Ensure correct procedure is performed on the correct patient.
• Initiate patient education on medications and home care.
