Schedule: 40 hours per week | 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM | Monday - Friday

The Operating Room (OR) Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) (OR) Attendant is responsible for patient care and preparation of the operating room in a surgical setting. Responsibilities include cleaning, organizing, and equipping surgical areas, transporting patients of all ages, assisting with patient preparations and positioning, and running errands between departments under supervision of nurses and surgeons.

Requirements

• Current CNA certification with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Health Service Regulation, in good standing.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting, preferably with OR experience, is a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association or Red Cross (required upon hire).
• Ability to pass a basic FIT test, including bending, stooping, standing, and sitting for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
