Job summary

Froedtert Health in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an experienced RN to coordinate the daily operations of the Operating Room and pre-arrival/recovery areas. The role includes hiring, staff evaluation, and participation in budgeting to support efficient OR services.

The incumbent ensures equipment is maintained, troubleshoots issues, and coordinates instrumentation with vendors. You will supervise and collaborate with leaders across Froedtert Health to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years as a recent RN in operating room, pre arrival/recovery, or critical care.
• Demonstrated competence in leadership is required.
• Scrub and/or critical care RN experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations of the Operating Room and pre arrival/recovery.
• Assist in hiring and evaluation of staff.
• Participates in the budget process for the operating room and pre arrival/recovery.
• Assures equipment is in proper working condition and available for cases.
• Troubleshoots equipment.
• Coordinates incoming and outgoing instrumentation with company representative.
• Performs all functions of the staff Registered Nurse.
• Collaborates with supervisors, managers, directors, and leaders within Froedtert Health.
