Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc in Illinois is seeking a Registered Nurse for the OR PRN shift. You will provide patient care using the nursing process across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited school of nursing, current RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and a minimum of two years in the OR with scrub and circulating preferred. Exceptional documentation and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Current Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum two years of OR experience preferred, ability to scrub and circulate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
• Assess and document patient health status and pain per policy.
• Record accurately in the patient chart and communicate with the care team.
• Support surgeon and team with timely assessments and anticipate needs during procedures.
