Job summary

AHN is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse to participate in surgical patient care and uphold high standards of nursing practice in the Center Twp Medical Neighborhood. The role requires PA RN licensure and 1–2 years of OR experience with BLS.

The RN will apply nursing processes, collaborate with anesthesia staff and surgeons, and ensure safe, effective perioperative care. ACLS/PALS/CNOR are preferred, and the employer emphasizes equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing.
• Current Pennsylvania RN licensure; 1–2 years Operating Room experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Analytical ability to ensure procedures are completed with optimal nursing care for patients, OR staff, anesthesia staff and surgeons.
• Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients/families, surgeons and nurses; collaborate with care teams.
• Maintain composure under daily stress and emergencies to support patient care.
