The position requires an Associate's Degree (BSN preferred), 2+ years of OR experience, and current RN licensure in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia depending on location. BLS is required and CNOR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 2 years OR experience; 2 years in specified specialties.
• Licensed RN in DC, MD or VA depending on location; BLS required.
• CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consults and coordinates with the health care team to assess and plan intraoperative patient care.
• Prepares the operating room, assembles equipment and supplies, ensures functionality.
• Delivers perioperative patient-centered care using the nursing process and evidence-based practices.
• Documents in the EMR and participates in quality improvement activities.
• Participates in universal protocol and safety checks before procedures.
