Job summary

Research Medical Center is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join its surgical services team. You will provide perioperative care, collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and technologists, and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least 1 year of OR RN experience, both scrubbing and circulating, with BLS due within 30 days. Full-time shifts include days and nights with differential pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent OR RN experience required.
• Experience scrubbing and circulating in the Operating Room.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment start date.
• Active Registered Nurse license required.
• RN Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgical procedures.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and perioperative process.
• Prepare patients for surgery, including IV therapy and preoperative medications.
• Participate in briefing, time-out, debriefing, and universal protocol processes.
• Monitor patients and respond to emergencies.
• Deliver patient-centered nursing care using evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with surgeons, providers, surgical technologists, and team members.
• Assess and document patient conditions throughout perioperative care.
• Provide post-procedure education and follow-up guidance.

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join the surgical services team at Research Medical Center. In this role, you will provide exceptional perioperative care while working alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and interdisciplinary team members in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Schedule

Available shifts include:

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Compensation & Incentives

• Salary Range: $34.00 – $48.00/hour
• Maximum rate considered for candidates with 18+ years of experience
• Shift Differentials:
• Nights: +$4.00/hour
• Weekends: +$4.00/hour
• Sign-On Bonus: Available on a case-by-case basis
• Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
