Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Tennessee is seeking an Operating Room Nurse. You will evaluate patients pre-operatively, educate families, and oversee IV therapy and preoperative meds.

You will participate in site verification and universal protocols, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with surgeons, techs, and staff to ensure safe patient care. Qualifications

• Active RN license in Tennessee.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in nursing or RN diploma.
• Circulating experience in OR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients pre-operatively.
• Educate patients/families about procedures and peri-operative care.
• Prepare patients including IV therapy and preoperative meds.
• Participate in site verification and universal protocols.
• Respond to emergencies and deliver evidence-based care.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to improve workflow.
