Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center is recruiting an Operating Room Nurse to join our surgical team in Franklin, TN. The role supports preop assessment, patient education, and perioperative care on a Monday–Friday schedule with 6:30 am–3:00 pm shifts, including occasional late stays but no weekend or on-call requirements.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safety, communication, and efficient workflow in the operating room.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required in Tennessee.
• RN degree or diploma completed to qualify.
• OR circulating experience required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide patient and family education about peri-operative process.
• Prepare patient including IV therapy and preoperative meds.
• Assist in surgical site verification and universal protocols.
• Respond to patient emergencies and deliver high-quality care.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to optimize workflow.
