Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Sports Surgery Center at The Star is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room to join our team. The position focuses on orthopedic and sports surgery with patient positioning, prepping and circulating intraoperative care.

Candidates should have an accredited RN degree and an active state license, plus BLS/ACLS/PALS as required, and at least one year of intra-operative experience. Work is on-site with weekdays only and no call requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• Strong Orthopedics experience required.
• One year experience required intra-operative setting.

Responsibilities

• Position the patient, prep the patient and circulate the case during surgery.
• Provide nursing care and service in the operating room.
• Assist with orthopedics, sports medicine, total joints and spine procedures as needed.

Registered Nurse Operating Room at Baylor Scott & White Sports Surgery Center at The Star:

The Registered Nurse, operating room provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Total Joints.

Qualifications:
