Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Sports Surgery Center at The Star in Texas is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This position is weekdays-only with no holidays, weekends, nights or on-call requirements.

The facility features six ORs, including dedicated rooms for total joints and spine, and a focus on sports medicine and orthopedics. As an OR RN you will position, prep and circulate during procedures, requiring an accredited RN program, active Texas RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS as needed, and

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN school.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• Strong Orthopedics experience required.
• One year experience required intra-operative setting.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Registered Nurse Operating Room at Baylor Scott & White Sports Surgery Center at The Star:

The Registered Nurse, operating room provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Total Joints.

Qualifications:
