Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Sports Surgery Center at The Star is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our operating room team. The role emphasizes patient positioning, prep, and intraoperative circulation for orthopedic and sports medicine cases, with a focus on total joints and spine procedures.

The position requires a graduate of an accredited RN program, an active state RN license, and certifications such as BLS/ACLS/PALS as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• Strong Orthopedics experience required.
• One year experience required intra-operative setting.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Position the patient for surgery, prep the patient, and circulate the case.
• Provide nursing care and service during surgery cases.
• Support orthopedics, sports medicine, total joints and spine procedures.

Registered Nurse Operating Room at Baylor Scott & White Sports Surgery Center at The Star:

The Registered Nurse, operating room provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Total Joints.
