Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Plano Alliance is hiring an Operating Room Nurse to provide nursing care during surgical cases. The RN will position, prep, and circulate patients, with experience across Gastroenterology, Colon & Rectal Surgery, ENT and Orthopedics.

This role requires graduation from an accredited RN program, an active RN license in Texas, and BLS/ACLS/PALS as needed. Availability Tuesday and Friday is required; Mondays through Fridays apply with no nights, weekends, calls, or

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Must be available to work Tuesday and Friday.

Responsibilities

• The Operating Room RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.
• Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: Gastroenterology, Colon & Rectal Surgery, ENT, Orthopedics.
