Job summary

The Registered Nurse Operating Room at Baylor Scott & White Surgicare - Carrollton provides nursing care and service during surgical cases, including patient positioning, prepping, and circulating the case.

This PRN position requires weekdays only with no holidays, weekends, nights or calls; free catered lunch provided daily. Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited RN program with active Texas RN license and BLS/ACLS/PALS as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

The Registered Nurse Operating Room provides nursing care and service during surgical cases. The Operating Room RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.
