Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club is hiring a Registered Nurse for our Operating Room. The OR RN will care for patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures, with a focus on adult, geriatric, and pediatric cases across gastroenterology, orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, urology, and more.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Texas RN license, BLS and ACLS; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients in OR.

Registered Nurse Operating Room Circulator at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club:

The OR Registered Nurse is responsible for the nursing activities related to care of the patient experiencing an operative or other invasive procedure. The staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric, and pediatric patients from 1 month through adolescence. Our scope of service includes gastroenterology, orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, urology, pain management, ophthalmology, and general surgery.

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing.

Licensure/Certification:

• Current Texas RN License
• BLS and ACLS required and PALS

Required Experience:

• Minimum two years previous OR experience
• Possess the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
• Possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees
• Knowledgeable of policies and procedures specific to operating room nurse
