Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Plano Alliance is seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse to provide nursing care during surgical cases. The OR RN will position and prep patients, and circulate cases in specialties such as Gastroenterology, Orthopedics, ENT, and more.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, calls, or holidays, though Tuesday and Friday shifts are required. Welcome to a facility with state‑of‑the‑art rooms and a strong USPI partnership.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• A minimum of 1 year of OR nursing experience.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Must be available to work Tuesday and Friday.

Responsibilities

• Position the patient, prep the patient, and circulate the case.

Operating Room Nurse at Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Plano Alliance

The Registered Nurse Operating Room provides nursing care and service during surgical cases. The Operating Room RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: Gastroenterology, Colon & Rectal Surgery, ENT, Orthopedics.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
• Must be available to work Tuesday and Friday
