Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Operating Room Nurse to join our surgical team. The RN will provide nursing care during cases, assist with patient positioning, prepping, and circulating the procedure.

We value clinical competency, leadership, and teaching, and require TX RN licensure, CPR and ACLS, plus at least one year of intraoperative experience in orthopedics, ENT, general, GI, gynecology, ophthalmology, pain, plastics, podiatry or urology.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Currently licensed in TX; CPR and advanced life support certification required.
• One-year experience in intra-operative setting.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership and teaching capabilities.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse operating room provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.
• The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.
