Metropolitan Surgery Center in Hackensack, NJ, is seeking a part-time Operating Room Nurse (OR RN) to support surgical teams in ENT, Orthopedic, Pain, Podiatry, and Urology cases. The role involves patient positioning, prepping, and circulating during procedures.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited RN program with an active RN license in New Jersey, BLS/ACLS/PALS as required, and at least one year as a circulating nurse; strong nursing judgment is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• 1 year experience working as a Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care during surgical cases.

Operating Room Nurse (OR RN) at Metropolitan Surgery Center

The Operating Room Nurse provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Operating Room Nurse will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: ENT, Orthopedic, Pain, Podiatry, and Urology.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
• 1 year experience working as a Circulator
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment

Pay Range

$48.00/hr - $58.00/hr (Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.)
