Metropolitan Surgery Center in New Jersey is seeking a part-time Operating Room Nurse (OR RN) to provide nursing care and circulation during surgery cases.

The role requires a graduate of an accredited RN program, an active NJ RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS as required by the center; prior circulating experience is preferred. Pay is $48.00–$58.00 per hour, based on qualifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• 1 year experience working as a Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Position the patient before surgery.
• Prep the patient for surgery.
• Circulate the case during surgery.
• Experience in ENT, Orthopedic, Pain, Podiatry, and Urology procedures.

Operating Room Nurse (OR RN) at Metropolitan Surgery Center

The Operating Room Nurse provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Operating Room Nurse will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: ENT, Orthopedic, Pain, Podiatry, and Urology

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
• 1 year experience working as a Circulator
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment

Pay Range:$48.00/hr - $58.00/hr (Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.)
