Job summary

Metropolitan Surgery Center is seeking a part-time Operating Room Nurse to join our team. The OR RN will provide nursing care during surgery, including patient positioning, prepping, and circulating the case, with experience in ENT, Orthopedic, Pain, Podiatry, and Urology.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited RN program, active RN license in NJ, BLS/ACLS/PALS as required, and at least 1 year as a Circulator. We offer competitive hourly pay and a supportive ambulatory environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• 1 year experience working as a Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Positioning the patient during surgery and ensuring proper alignment.
• Prepping the patient for the procedure and maintaining sterile technique.
• Circulating the case and assisting the surgical team as needed.
• Experience in ENT, Orthopedic, Pain, Podiatry, and Urology procedures.

Operating Room Nurse (OR RN) at Metropolitan Surgery Center

The Operating Room Nurse provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Operating Room Nurse will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: ENT, Orthopedic, Pain, Podiatry, and Urology

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
• 1 year experience working as a Circulator
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment

Pay Range:$48.00/hr - $58.00/hr (Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.)
