Job summary

Tucson Medical Center in Tucson, AZ, is seeking an OR Housekeeping - Mids to support the operating room team. The role is 90% housekeeping and 10% patient care, including transporting specimens and patients, and assisting with cardiac arrest interventions.

You will help prepare the OR for procedures, perform turnover and terminal cleaning, maintain sanitation of transport devices, pumps, and carts, and ensure infection control standards are followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months of related experience preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with transporting patients and specimens and preparing anesthesia setup.
• Maintain a clean, safe OR environment and turnover rooms between cases.
• Follow infection control procedures and maintain required cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
