Job summary

Azspineandjoint is seeking a Full-Time on-site Housekeeper to support our surgical team by maintaining a clean, organized operating room before and after procedures. The role includes assisting with patient positioning and transfers, stocking supplies, and enforcing infection control protocols to ensure a safe, sterile environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of infection control principles.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and organize the operating room before and after procedures.
• Assist surgical staff with patient positioning and transferring.
• Maintain inventory of surgical supplies and restock as needed.
• Follow infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment.
• Handle trash, biohazard waste, and linens per policy.
• Provide courteous service to patients, staff and visitors; report equipment malfunctions.
