Job summary

Aurora Health Care is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Aide to maintain OR suites, ancillary areas, and clinic spaces in a clean, sanitary condition. You will follow established procedures, replenish supplies, and support turnover of rooms to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

We value adherence to safety protocols and teamwork across departments, with responsibilities including waste management, infection control, and assisting with daily operations as required.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required.
• High school diploma preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to follow department procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all assigned O.R. suites, ancillary areas and department areas in a clean, neat and sanitary manner.
• Clean assigned areas and carts daily; replenishes supplies as needed.
• Observe Standard Precaution, Infection Control, OSHA and departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist in turnover of OR rooms and equipment.
• Provide a safe, clean, attractive environment for patients, staff and visitors at all times.
• Promote patient safety by reporting issues through established channels.
