Qualifications

• 3+ years of acute care experience in Operating Room or perioperative services.
• Experience with quality improvement and performance initiatives.
• Experience with clinical education, training, or staff development.
• Advanced clinical knowledge and ability to mentor and influence staff.
• Strong communication, leadership, and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, develop, and manage clinical competencies for OR nursing and support staff.
• Design and deliver education programs aligned with best practices and organizational goals.
• Serve as a clinical expert and resource for perioperative staff.
• Support orientation, onboarding, and ongoing development of new hires and nurse residents.
• Partner with leadership to evaluate staff performance and learning needs.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and incorporate data into education strategies.
• Promote adherence to clinical standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Support patient care delivery through education, coaching, and mentorship.
• Participate in research and performance improvement efforts.
