Job summary

Dallas Regional Medical Center in Mesquite, TX seeks an Operating Room Circulator RN to provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care. You will prepare the OR, assist with patient prep, and collaborate with surgeons to ensure patient safety before, during, and after procedures.

Mandatory current Texas RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and 1+ year perioperative experience are required. BSN preferred; CNOR certification preferred for career growth and leadership opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active state RN license required in Texas.
• 1+ year perioperative or on-the-job OR circulator experience preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications maintained.
• CNOR certification preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating room and ensure sterile environment.
• Assist in patient prep, verify identity and surgical site, position patient.
• Document vital signs, medications, and perioperative details for charting.
• Maintain infection control and safe handling of instruments and equipment.
• Collaborate with surgeons and team to support patient safety throughout surgery.
