Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Dallas Regional Medical Center in Mesquite, TX is seeking an Operating Room Circulator RN to join the perioperative team. You will prepare the OR, assist with patient prep, and document intraoperative care.

The role requires a current RN license and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications with perioperative experience; CNOR and BSN are preferred. This full-time day shift offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification on hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• PALS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Minimum of one year perioperative experience or on-the-job training.
• CNOR certification (AORN) preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
• Assist in preparing the patient for surgery and verify identity and site.
• Document vital signs, medications, and other details for the medical record.
• Maintain sterile environment and infection control protocols.
• Work with surgeons and team to ensure patient safety.
