Job summary

Shrewsbury Surgery Center is seeking a full-time Operating Room Charge Nurse to lead nursing in pre-, intra-, and post-procedure areas. You will ensure regulatory compliance, patient safety, and cost-effective care while directing staff in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Qualifications include NJ nursing licensure, BLS/ACLS, and 2 years of intra-operative leadership. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Work schedule is four 10-hour shifts with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current New Jersey nursing license.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• 2 years of clinical leadership experience in intra-operative setting.

Responsibilities

• Formulates and implements nursing philosophy and objectives for the Center.
• Reviews policies and staffing with Administrator and staff.
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA and accrediting standards.
• Prepares weekly and monthly nursing schedules.
• Delegates administrative responsibilities to other R.N. in absence.
