Job summary

Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in Memphis, TN is hiring an Environmental Services Aide to clean operating rooms before and after procedures, maintain cleaning solutions and equipment, and transport patients to and from surgical suites. You will move requested items between departments and support safety and cleanliness across the hospital.

You will participate in CIP and quality improvement activities while following aseptic techniques and maintaining proper stocking levels.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service and clear English communication.
• Ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains operating rooms before and after surgical procedures.
• Transports pediatric, adolescent, adult & geriatric patients to and from surgical suites and related areas.
• Transports requested items between departments and surgical units in a timely, accurate manner.
• Participates in CIP, Quality Improvement and evaluates activities to meet hospital standards.
• Maintains aseptic technique and ensures equipment and supplies are clean and stocked.
