Job summary

This position requires High School graduate, BLS certification, and prior hospital experience preferred. The ORA will coordinate with OR staff and nursing to maintain safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School graduate.
• BLS (Provider) through the American Heart Association.
• Previous hospital experience preferred in transport or Environmental Service.
• Excellent customer service friendly skills.

Responsibilities

• Transports surgical patients and belongings as directed by nursing staff.
• Assists in the OR with patient lifting, positioning, and transfer.
• Transports specimens, equipment, and supplies within the OR suite.
• Keeps OR environment clean, organized, and ready for next case.
• On-call availability as required.
