Job summary

Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Washington seeks an Operating Room Assistant to support perioperative areas with sanitation, safety, and smooth operations. Shift: Variable. National Provider BLS certification is required at hire, and prior Environmental Services or Anesthesia Technician experience is preferred.

Operating Room Assistant

The Perioperative Support Assistant is responsible for sanitation, cleanliness, safety and smooth operation throughout the operating rooms and surrounding areas. The PSA must be physically able to do the job, have the ability to work alone or work as a member of a high energy team, demonstrate good judgment (common sense), and possess the ability to work cooperatively and pleasantly with others in all levels of the organization, including patients, staff, physicians and visitors.
