Indiana University Health is seeking an Operating Room Assistant to support the surgical team across pre-, intra- and post-operative activities in a fast-paced hospital setting.
The role requires a high school diploma, BLS certification, and the ability to work with sterile procedures; prior hospital experience preferred; full-time or part-time opportunities with benefits.

Our surgical unit is equipped with advanced technology, including a robust robotic program, and offers a diverse range of procedures in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. We are a comprehensive hospital providing multiple specialties such as orthopedics, general surgery, colorectal, urology, gynecology and cancer care.
Operating Room Assistants support the surgical team before, during and after surgery. Assists with operating room preparation by cleaning, procuring equipment and opening sterile supplies. Provides transportation and needed assistance with patient care. Assists Surgical Techs and Nurses with various assigned duties. Works as a member of the surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, registered nurses, surgical technologists and other surgical personnel.
Requires a High School Diploma/GED.
