Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a hospital janitorial associate to support the Surgical Service Department by cleaning and maintaining the OR and PACU areas in accordance with established methods and protocols.

The role requires 1 year of janitorial experience or six months in a hospital or acute care facility, plus AHA BLS Healthcare Professional certification. Weekend shifts, per diem, and on-call responsibilities are included.

Qualifications

• 1 year janitorial experience or six months in a hospital/acute care facility.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Professional certification required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain OR and PACU areas according to established methods.
• Transport and assist in patient care within the Surgical Services Department.
• Restock supplies and ensure safe, clean work environments per protocol.
• Perform terminal cleaning of OR suites between procedures as assigned.
