Job summary

Sharp Chula Vista is seeking a per diem Aide for weekend coverage in the Surgical Services area. The role focuses on cleaning, sanitizing, and supporting OR and PACU operations under department guidelines.

The position requires 1 year (or 6 months in a hospital/acute care setting) of janitorial experience and an active AHA BLS Healthcare Professional certification, with high school diploma or equivalent preferred. This is a weekend, variable-shift, part-time role.

Qualifications

• 1 year janitorial experience or six months janitorial experience in a hospital or acute care facility.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintenance of the OR and PACU following Sharp Healthcare standards.
• Cleans, stocks, and maintains scrub sink areas and related spaces.
• Transports patients to the Surgical Services Department safely.
• Maintains supplies and equipment required for department operations.
• Delivers unopened, non-controlled drugs and I.V.s to the Surgical Services Arena under supervision.
