Job summary

Whataburger is seeking a seasoned restaurant leader to drive store performance and profitability across all areas of operations. You will oversee cash handling, labor, food costs, and maintenance while directing hiring, training, and development to build a high-performing team.

Role requires a track record in restaurant management, strong leadership, customer service, and adherence to safety standards. On-site role with opportunities for growth and leadership development.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of management experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Manages profit and loss, oversees cash reporting, labor, food expenses, repairs, and maintenance.
• Attracts and retains talent through hiring decisions, growth plans, and performance assessments.
• Works with Managers and Market Leader to execute operational plans.
• Monitors restaurant performance using reporting tools, customer metrics, and labor metrics.
• Maintains safety protocols and promotes food safety policies and a safe work environment.
• Builds relationships with customers and resolves complaints.
• Leads rollout and adoption of change initiatives, including new products and campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Manages profit and loss, oversees financial tasks such as cash reporting, labor, food expenses, repairs, and maintenance.
