Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Manager in Operating Model Transformation and Strategy to lead Finance Transformation and GBS engagements in a cross-functional advisory team. You will design end-state operating models across Finance, HR, IT, and more, and guide transitions from strategy through execution, using automation, AI, and analytics to drive efficiency and controls.

You will advise senior leaders, develop roadmaps, and mentor junior staff while partnering with technology teams to embed data

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's preferred); CPA, CFA, PMP, or equivalent certifications strongly preferred.
Five (5)+ years of progressive experience in Finance transformation and/or GBS, within management consulting with leadership in operating model and process transformation.
Proven expertise advising global organizations on Finance processes including Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Pay, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Financial Reporting and Internal Audit.
Proven expertise advising on GBS, shared services, outsourcing, and target operating model design, including BPO selection, contracting, transition, and performance management.
Strong consulting and delivery experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder transformations across captive and outsourced environments.

Responsibilities

Lead client engagements related to Finance Transformation and GBS, from proposal development through execution and steady state operations.
Design and implement end-state GBS and operating models across Finance, HR, IT, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Customer Operations.
Assess organizational maturity and develop transformation roadmaps aligned to enterprise strategy and outcomes.
Lead large-scale Finance transformation programs with automation, analytics, AI, RPA, and intelligent workflows.
Establish service management frameworks, including SLAs/OLAs, dashboards, and continuous improvement mechanisms.
Drive transitions, migrations and readiness across global delivery networks with risk mitigation and change management.
Partner with technology teams to embed data platforms, intelligent automation and analytics into operations.
Design data models and processes for consolidation, close acceleration, planning and enterprise financial intelligence.
Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative global culture.
