Qualifications

• Observing and interpreting readings on gauges, meters and charts to meet demand for the service provided.
• Directing and coordinating activities of other workers in operating and maintaining the system.
• Record logs and ensure engines, machinery and equipment are in good working order.

Responsibilities

• Observe and interpret readings on gauges, meters and charts which register various aspects of the system and to meet demand for the service provided
• Record logs in various aspects of the systems operation, keeping the engines, machinery and equipment of the system in good working order
• Direct and coordinate activities of other workers in performing task directly related to operating and maintaining the system or systems
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
• Must be skilled in the repair of electronic control equipment; workers in establishments producing electricity, steam, or heated or cooled air.
• Ability to lift 45 lbs.
• Must be a US citizen.
• Must possess and maintain an active DoD TS clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

MD stationary engineer license level 1 or DC stationary engineer level 3
