Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking an Operating Engineer to support operation, inspection and maintenance of mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems at our Maitland, FL site. The role includes standard 9am–6pm hours, with rotating on-call every two weeks and occasional evenings and weekends for special projects.

• 3+ years of related work experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry.
• Trade school, union training or college is desirable.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and inspections of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and building systems.
• Complete assigned tasks such as painting, fixture maintenance, and general upkeep.
• Maintain work orders and respond to tenant service requests.
• Assist in on-call or emergency response as needed.
• Troubleshoot building systems (electrical, DDC, pneumatic controls) and document work done.

The Operating Engineer supports operation, inspection and maintenance processes to mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems.
