Job summary

Research Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an Operating Engineer for night shift to maintain hospital mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. You will operate the building powerhouse/boiler and oversee Life Safety systems, with responsibilities including ordering parts and coordinating repairs.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and relevant licenses/certifications (e.g., CFS) with 3 years maintenance experience preferred.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs maintenance and repair duties and assigned tasks having to do with hospital mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The operating engineer maintains and operates the building powerhouse/boiler system as required by city code. Maintain and repair non-patient contact hospital equipment, and various Life Safety systems. Orders parts and materials as needed. The hours for this position are Nights with rotating weekends. 11:15 p.m. -7:30 a.m. Sunday thru Thursday.
